About:
This was a design for a book jacket (cover) for the Cross–Cultural Center (CCC). The book consisted of journal–entries by students affiliated in one way or another with the 40+ cultural groups under the Center. It was given as a welcome present to the newly appointed UCI Chancellor, Ralph J. Cicerone (back in Spring 2000).
The number “25” in the design symbolizes the 25th year anniversary of the Cross–Cultural Center. Masked by the “25” is a famous student-mural that can be seen if one visits the CCC.
